This is a story contest. All you have to do is read the story below and finish it any way you like. Remember it is valentines day themed.

Story:

It was a sunny morning. It was the day before valentines day. Like always, Jewel would get up early to go shopping. She knew it was quite late to do shopping but she hated to get caught in the valentines day rush so should would always buy gifts late because she knew most people wouldn't be shopping a day before valentines day. She got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. She brushed her hair. Oh no, she yelled. I forgot to wake up Rose. Rose was her furry friend. She ran to wake up Rose. Her and Rose went to the bathroom to finish brushing their teeth. Afterward, the two got dressed and went outside. She decided to go to her friend (name)'s house..........................................................

Lillian's house and make valentine cards for all her friends and family.Then lillian and jewel went shopping and helped each other pick out the perfect gifts for everyone on the list.then they went to jewels house and planned a valentines party for all their friends.and they had so much fun and it was the greatest valentines ever

It was a sunny morning. It was the day before valentines day. Like always, Jewel would get up early to go shopping. She knew it was quite late to do shopping but she hated to get caught in the valentines day rush so should would always buy gifts late because she knew most people wouldn't be shopping a day before valentines day. She got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. She brushed her hair. Oh no, she yelled. I forgot to wake up Rose. Rose was her furry friend. She ran to wake up Rose. Her and Rose went to the bathroom to finish brushing their teeth. Afterward, the two got dressed and went outside. She decided to go to her friend Ruby's house. This time she wanted her friend Ruby's help to pick the perfect gifts. Jewel didn't want to be like the others and buy a teddy bear or a box of chocolates , no , she had decided that she was going to get the perfect gift , for Joe the boy she liked. To tell the truth Jewel had liked Joe since she started 6th grade , now she was in 8th grade. She never had the confidence to tell him till now. Rose her furry friend always liked to help , she was always exited to Ruby to but most of all she wanted to see Rocky Joe's furry friend . That day Rose had decided to get Rocky a gift too. That day the three of the headed to the shops . Hours went by and still, neither of them had found the perfect gift .
Joe had already got Jewel a gift , but she didn't know that. They had arranged to meet on February the 14th and go to the park for a picnic. Rocky Joe's furry friend had got Rose a gift too. But it was 5 pm already and Joe was looking forward too the next day. Jewel on the other hand was not , it was getting dark now , she still couldn't find that perfect gift she wanted. Jewel was upset now , she thought she blamed her self for this . Rose had already found her gift . But then her friend Ruby suddenly turned to Jewel and said
" It's getting late Jewel I have to go home now but take this and don't open it till you get home"
The both said goodbye and Rose asked Jewel what Ruby gave her . Jewel told Rose it was only a letter.

It was now seven pm and still no gift . Jewel went home all upset . rose tried to comfort her and say it was okay. But it didn't help. She remembered she still had the letter Ruby gave her she opened the letter. It was a letter it said
" The perfect gift can't be bought , the perfect gift comes for the heart "
Jewel Smiled.
The next morning she got up early to bake a heart shaped cake and heart shaped shortbread and she made sandwiches , and more picnic food. She got 6 bottles of fizzy pop . And she put a picture of Joe, Rocky , Rose and her she had in to a frame , and wrapped it up . That day was the best valentines day ever , it turns out Joe had also done the same as Jewel and backed for the picnic . I guess the perfect gift can't be bough, the perfect gift is from the heart.

It's always fun shopping with your friend! Jewel and Rose arrived at Evelyn's house and rang the doorbell. The door opened just a crack and there popped out Evelyn's face. "Hello..." Eveyln said groggily. "Good morning sleepy head." said Jewel. "Hey Jewel.. what are you doing here...It's onl---Wait...Jewel, I told you I didn't steal your friend chicken!" exclaimed Evelyn. "No, no! I'm not here for that this time, but although, I still think you stole my chicken...but anyways, I'm here because I want you to go to the mall with me to buy some valentine goodys!" explained Jewel. "Oh, well sorry.. And I would love to go to the mall with you! Buying some special gifts for Daniel? Huh? Hehe." said Evelyn. Jewel turned as red as a tomato. "Shut up! He lives right next to you!" said Jewel. "You seriously think he could hear us? We're like 15 feet apart AND I bet you he's still sleeping..." said Evelyn. "Fine, whatever. Let's just go. Wait first get dressed... I'll be waiting in the living room." said Jewel. Evelyn ran up to her room and got dressed. Meanwhile, the doorbell rang. "Uh.. who is it?" asked Jewel. "It's me Daniel. My mom wanted me to..uh.. give you.. this... thing." Oh. My. Goodness! Daniel just rang Evelyn's doorbell! Alright, calm down Jewel, you can do this. Just say hi and grab whatever he wants to give Evelyn. Oh no! What if it's a valentine! If it is I am---. *Ding dong ding dong* "Hello... Evelyn?"
"Coming!" said Jewel. She ran toward the door, and fixed her hair before opening the door. She grabbed the doorknob and opened it with a nervous smile. "Hey Daniel! How's it going dude!?" Oh gosh, did I just say that? Daniel's eye widened. "Hey.. Jewel.. Um.. what are you doing here?"
"Oh you know, um, just, eating.. food.. at Evelyns.." said Jewel nervously. "Okay then.. well just tell Evelyn I stopped by to give her the v-note." said Daniel. "Ok but don't you think it will be easier if I just give it to her right now?" asked Jewel. "No!! I mean, no. It's fine. I'll just come back later. See ya.." said Daniel as he turned around to go back to his house. Jewel closed the door slowly in confusion. V-Note? What if the V stands for Valentine! Oh my gosh! Daniel likes Evelyn!!! That's so not fair! Just then, Evelyn bursted out from her room. "Hey! Sorry I took forever, I couldn't find my mascara and I thought I looked really pretty so I wanted to take pictures of myself so I can upload it on facebook." said Evelyn. Jewel just stared off into space and didn't reply. "Um, Jewel? You there? Helloooo?? Earth to Jewel?"
"Oh sorry!" Jewel said. "I was um just thinking about what to buy Daniel. And speaking of him, he stopped by.. a second a go.. and he told me to tell you that he has the V-Note.."
"Oh my gosh! Already!?!" said Evelyn. "Yeah.." said Jewel. "What is he talking about?"
"Nothing you need to worry about yet. Come on let's go to the mall!!" said Evelyn as she grabbed Jewels wrist and dragged her out of her house.
4 and a half hours later, the girls were getting out of the mall with loads of shopping bags on their arms. "It's been 4 and a half hours and I found absolutely nothing to give to Daniel! Ugh! I hate valentines day!" said Jewel. "Aw come on, you'll find a gift soon. And don't be blaming this on Valentines day! You get free chocolates and gifts on that day..." said Evelyn. "Your right..sorry. Hey, don't you feel like something really important is missing? It feels like there's someone or something that's supposed to be helping me with my valentines day gifts right now.." Jewel said. "Um, your credit card? Did you leave it at the counter AGAIN!?" exclaimed Evelyn. "No!" said Jewel. "I have credy right here in my bag. What could it be?" The girls stood there for a while and thought. "OH MY GOSH. ROSE IS MISSING! I can't believe I let her go out of my sight! Stupid Valentines Day!" said Jewel. "Ah, there you go again, blaming Valentines day!" said Evelyn. "Ev! ROSE IS MISSING! My furry friend! My BEST--" Jewel was interrupted by Evelyn. "You mean Second.." said Evelyn. "Yeah she was my SECOND BEST FRIEND! And I just let her get away! I can't believe this is happening! I HATE VALENTINES DAY!" said Jewel. "Oh my gosh, Jewel, stop blaming Valentines day! And I'm sure Rose will be back. If you've been feeding her and playing with her lately, I guarantee you that she will come back to you!" said Evelyn. "Ok, fine. I believe you since your my bestest friend. Now, let's go find Daniels gift!" exclaimed Jewel. "Hehe bipolar much?" asked Evelyn. "What?" Jewel said. "Hehe nothing. Let's go!" said Evelyn.
Another two hours had passed and still no gift for Daniel and no sign of Rose.
Sigh. "This is horrible.. I'm never going to find a gift for Daniel and Rose will never come back to me!" complained Jewel. "Jewel, just trust me. I know everything will be great by the end of the day. Rose was your best bud for YEARS she won't ditch you for no reason. Plus--Jewel, are you even listening to me!?" said Evelyn. Jewel did not reply. Evelyn followed Jewel's gaze and landed on Daniel. "Oh my gosh! There he is! Jewel, even though you don't have a gift for him, you should still go talk to him! You can give him a hug. That can be his gift! OR even a kiss! Oh my gosh you should totally kiss him. It will be like a NINJA KISS! He won't even see it coming!" said Evelyn while laughing. "Haha very funny. I will NEVER kiss Daniel. Not unless he tries to kiss me first WHEN and IF I ever go out with him. Oh my gosh, Ev look! He's coming towards me!" said Jewel excitedly. "Hey Daniel!" said Evelyn while waving. Daniel gave her a little wave and walked toward Jewel with a smile. "Here he comes! Woot woot!" said Evelyn as she backed away from them and hid. Finally, Daniel had reached Jewel. "Hey Jewel." said Daniel with a nice smile. "Hey... Daniel" said Jewel very quietly with her head down and face red. "How's it going?" asked Daniel still smiling and looking at Jewel. "Great.. I guess.. Except for the fact that Rose ran away..." said Jewel as her tone changed from nervous to sad. "I'm so sorry. Rose was your best friend and-"
"2nd BEST FRIEND!" interrupted Evelyn from far away. "Second best friend" continued Daniel, "I know she meant a lot to you and she just ran away. That's just not fair. I'm so sorry." said Daniel as he slowly got closer and closer to Jewel. "Yeah.. that's ok. It's not your fault." said Jewel sniffling. Daniel got even closer and lifted her chin up. "It's going to be okay Jewel." said Daniel comfortingly. Jewel smile and Daniel gave Jewel a passionate, long hug. Jewel's eyes got bigger and she stopped breathing for a second. Oh. My. Gosh. Daniel is HUGGING ME!!! Evelyn better be taking a picture of this! Mm.. he smells so good... Wait I should be hugging him back! Jewel quickly put her arms around his body. I think I'm a good hugger? Jewel thought. Daniel finally let go. "Jewel.. there's something I want to give you." said Daniel as he pulled out a lovely looking card from his pocket. Jewel looks at it with her eyes full of hope. "Here. It took forever for me to make this. Hope you like it." said Daniel. Make? Jewel thought. He made this for...me? Jewel slowly took it from his hand and opened it. Out popped a ginormous heart with fancy writing saying "I love you Jewel. You are the one and only my love. Will you be my valentine?" Jewels heart started to pound very fast. He's asking me to be his valentine! And he loves me! Oh my! Oh and what is this? Jewel looked at the side of the card. It said, "Jewel, I loved you since grade school. Even though I didn't show it, I really did. It was so hard not seeing you during the summers. My heart always accelerated whenever my eyes saw you. You talking to another guy, even if he was a partner for a project, made me jealous. I always think about you. I always want to call you every night and say 'Goodnight my love. Have good dreams'. I always wanted to hold your hands at school and make my friends jealous. I wanted to kiss you in the rain. I always wanted to just hold on to you tight and never let go. I just wanted to be your guy. I've been waiting so long to confess to you my passionate, great love for you and now I think it is time. We are Seniors in high school and I can't let you go to College without you knowing how much I love you. Please be my girl.
Love, Daniel". I was already crying of joy in the beginning and Daniel was hugging me again. Better than last time. "Yes... yes..yes!" I told Daniel. "I will be your valentine. I wanted to do all those things to you too. I've loved you since grade school and I still love you so much." said Jewel. Daniel brushed the hair out of my eyes slowly and leaned it. I closed my eyes and waited for it to happen. The event I waited for 12 years. It's finally coming true... Right as their lips were about to touch, she heard a barking noise. The bark broke the tense moment and it disappointed Jewel but her disappointedness disappeared as she saw a cute little furry friend running toward her with great speed. She started smilling. Her smile widened every second until Rose was right in front of her. "ROSE!" exclaimed Jewel! "ROSE WHERE WERE YOU! I was so worried! Oh Rose!" said Jewel while hugging her furry friend with all her might. "Hey little friend. Why did you make my Jewel so worried?". Daniel said. Jewel froze. She had forgotten she was now Daniel's girl. She slowly stood up and faced Daniel. "So, where were we Daniel?" asked Jewel with a smile. "We were right here..." said Daniel as he leaned forward again. But then, Evelyn came running toward them squealing! "WEE!! It finally happened! YOUR FINALLY WITH DANIEL! AND DANIEL YOUR FINALLY WITH JEWEL! YAYY!!!" exclaimed Evelyn. "Yeah... Um Ev, not to be rude or anything but you can leave for like a minute? Cause we were just about to do something..." said Daniel. "Um.. yeahh Ev. Sorry." said Jewel. "Oh I see how it is, fine I'll leave. But let me say something first." She turned to Jewel. "Ok Jewel, just wanted to tell you that Daniel and I were planning this." said Evelyn. "Huh?" Jewel asked. "What are you talking about. What were you planning?" "This! This whole thing! We planned to take you here so you guys can you know.. and I took Rose and left her in my back yard because I didn't want her to be a distraction. Sorry Rose. I wanted you to pay more attention to Daniel but that only worked for like 4 hours. And the V-Note.. He was supposed to come over to my house so I can look over it and make sure you'll love it but you got in the way... But he did a fine job. You loved the card didn't you?" said Evelyn. "Oh wow... I should've known! Oh well, thanks.. Evelyn! Your the bestest friend ever." said Jewel. "No probs Besty! Don't you LOVE valentines day now?" said Evelyn. "Oh..yeah.. now I do. Sorry for saying 'I hate valentines day'." said Jewel. "Haha it's ok. I just wanted to bother you about it! I really don't care! OK NOW I WILL LEAVE!" said Evelyn. Evelyn skipped away. "Finally. Now we can go back to..you know what without being disturbed." smirked Daniel.

Ana looked at her with unpromising eyes. Ana shut the door on her. Jewels eyes exploded with tears.
"What did I do?" :[
Jewel pounded on the door.
"Ana!! What's wrong?!"
Ana opened the door and her face was filled with tears.
"You know what you did!!!"
Ana shut the door once more.
"GO HOME!" Ana was sobbing.
Filled with tears, Jewel went home. She hopped on her bike and put rose in the basket.
"What happened?" Asked Rose.
"I dont know.."
Rose waited. Jewel didn't say a word more. Rose tucked her hands under her chin and rested her elbows on the basket.
When they got home Jewel reached for the door nob.
"OWW!! Its hot!!!" >:[
She tried again. It was locked. She pounded on the door,her hand started bleeding.
"Ohhhh"
She looked at the profile of the house.
"This aint my house"
"RUNN!!!!!!" Said rose
"They aren't home"
"Oh"
Once they found their house it was late. Jewel didn't realize they took the wrong first turn.
"Hey hun" Her mom said
"Whatever" She said
"excuse me?!"
Jewel burst into tears.
"I went over to Ana's and she was so mad at me! I, I , I don't know what i did!"
She pulled out a stool and rested her elbow on the island. Twisted her arm around her back
and pulled Rose up. Her mother watched.

"what was that?"
" I don't know"

Jewel looked at her.

"Oh oh yeah."
"well what i would do is try to call her and talk to her."
"Mom she's NOT going to answer."
"Just try,please?"
"Fine"
Jewel rolled her eyes.

"hello?"
"Ana What did I do?"

She picked up the phone.

"The one.. I was going to send my self 15 valentine grams because i'm apparently soooooo
desperate!!!!"

"WHy would you believe her!? You KNOWW Very well what she does to people!!"

" can i come over?" she said in a sorrow voice.
Ana replied " Yeah i guess so."
So Jewel went to Ana's.
The next morning a knock was at the door.
"ughhhh my mom's here" Jewel whined
They went to open the door.
"hello" said the two boys.
It was Jewel's and Ana's life long crushes.They were holding flowers and chocolates. : D
"Here you go"
They smiled and walked off.
Ana and Jewel fell to the floor. They suddenly snapped out of it.
"OMG" said jewel.
'Who told them!?"

And they ran to the phone...
